The famous Sherlock Holmes is back at it again on your television screen! Or at least he was... Sherlock has since been completed back in 2017 but is still available on Netflix for your viewing pleasure. Now, Sherlock is a modern adaptation of the infamous Sherlock Holmes and his trusty companion, Doctor John Watson. Each season is only three episodes long each. Three. So I will try to keep things short and to the point.
(SPOILER WARNING! START)
Doctor John Watson has finally come home after a long tour in Afghanistan as a war doctor, essentially. He was released on account of a leg injury and is looking for a flat in London. John goes to talk with a friend about someone else looking for a roommate for a flat they are looking at, hence Sherlock Holmes comes into play. Sherlock is the one looking for a roommate for a flat and leaves an impression on John through his thorough deduction skills. Sherlock gives a time and place for John to meet him to discuss the flat: 221B Baker Street.
John does arrive and meets Mrs. Hudson, the landlady but is soon thrust into a crime where Sherlock is a consulting detective. There is a murdered lady in pink. John accompanies Sherlock as he solves the crime and brings in the criminal. And it turns out that the leg injury that John had was purely psychosomatic and the actual injury itself is healed. Sherlock inevitably helps John get over it during the case and they end up rooming together at 221B Baker Street.
(SPOILER WARNING! END)
I only lightly glossed over episode one due to the fact that there aren't many episodes and each one is as amazing as the last. This is definitely a must watch for anyone who enjoys a good mystery. There is also a good amount of hilarity and wit that encompasses the show. All in all it's just two guys that have their moments and they solve crimes while blogging about it. Yes that's right. Blogging.
Anyways, so sorry for such a short post this time, but things have been insanely hectic and stressful as of late that I don't know if I will be able to keep posting for a bit. I just don't know yet. Thank you all for reading this and I hope that you'll be back for my next post!
